Monovisc cross-linked sodium hyaluronate injection is a single-use syringe for intra-articular injection of cross-linked sodium hyaluronate for the treatment of symptoms of osteoarthritis. Monovisc is intended to be used as a viscoelastic additive or as a replacement for synovial fluid in human joints. Monovisc is well suited for the treatment of symptoms of dysfunctions in the human joint, for example osteo-arthritis. Monovisc acts as a lubricant and provides mechanical support.
